About Us

My name is Laura, and I am the founder of HOPE Wellness.  I have the good fortune of being born and raised in west Texas.  It was there that I truly began to understand how to live life simply and to appreciate all that I have been blessed with. Through my own path, I strive for clarity, happiness, balance, and inner peace. This journey has inspired me to share it with others.

I have always been intrigued by the mind-body connection and obtained both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physical Education. I am certified to teach in Florida. In 2014, I became a Certified Hypnotist with specialties in Stress Management and Executive Coaching. In continuing with the mind-body connection, I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Florida and Texas.

Now more than ever, it is important to learn the art of self-healing and to take care of our emotional and physical health. I created HOPE Wellness with the goal of helping others improve their lives by facilitating healing and positive changes through personalized sessions using hypnosis, massage therapy, Reiki, meditation, and personal growth and development.

Some things about me:

• I absolutely love my work. I am 100% committed to it and my clients’ results
• I choose the mescal plant as my logo to honor my ancestors, the Mescalero Apache
• We have used the mescal plant as a food source for centuries, hence the tribe’s name Mescalero Apache
• I am Mescalero Apache/Lipan Apache and am enrolled in the tribe
• My maternal great grandmother was a medicine woman, a healer who delivered babies in adobe homes in the desert and offered physical and spiritual healing
• Desert Dreamer Foundation is my 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization – desertdreamer.org
• The HOPE in HOPE Wellness is an acronym for Helping Other People Evolve
